It was a cold and rainy day… grey and cloudy, but filled with smiles and happiness. We all hoped that the sun would come out, even if just for a little bit – we didn’t get our wish, but as it turns out cloudy rainy days are Cindy and Michael’s favorite type of day! They embraced the day and enjoyed every moment of their wedding day.
I was personally freezing my behind off, but Cindy and Michael didn’t mind keeping each other warm with hugs and kisses during the few moments that we had to venture off into the golf course before the rain picked up again. Thank you guys for sharing your love, your smiles, and your moments with me!
Cindy and Michael celebrated their wedding ceremony at the Northpoint Evangelical Church in Corona and their fabulous reception took place at the Eagle Glen Golf Course.

The week of Bethany and Brian’s engagement session was just grey and cold – you could tell the skies were just anxious to let it pour… I hoped that for her session it actually stayed the same and that the rain would hold off a while longer. Mother Nature didn’t see things our way… apparently the rain doesn’t care if only have that one day to do a session – lol! As it turns out, we had to do their session in a couple of ‘stages’. We would take a few shots, and then run inside to wait a little longer for the rain to settle a bit. At one point we made great use of the weather and grabbed some umbrellas – those turned out to be my favorite images from the session!
I know I always say this – but I love getting to know my clients – I always feel blessed to be able to work with such amazing couples!!!! Bethany and Brian are a sweet and laid back couple… I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in a few weeks!!!

You know how they say that opposites attract? … Talisa is shy, sweet, and simply adorable – James is boxes of energy just waiting to explode… together they absolutely complement each other! Talisa calms James down; while James keeps Talisa laughing all day long. I had so much fun wit them both on their engagement session and on their wedding day – they truly radiate happiness and you can’t help but smile when you’re around them. Of course, their family and friends are just as fun and outgoing! The boys (James’ groomsmen and brothers) were full of jokes and laughs… they couldn’t wait to have a blast at the reception – and Talisa’s girls were simply sweet and fabulous!!!
Talisa and James celebrated their wedding day at the Etiwanda Gardens.

Malia and Erick have a love that feels like the kind of love that has been around for a lifetime… a love that is gentle and wise. Erick has this quiet yet incredibly strong love for Malia – I could see it from the moment I met them. They’re both so sweet and so at ease with each other… it’s just adorable. Malia was so relaxed on her wedding day… she was determined to have a fun and stress free wedding – one that she could enjoy and remember forever.
They celebrated their love surrounded by their beautiful family at Angeles National Golf Club.

Prisillia and Harrold have such a fun and easy-going personality… you can tell that their love is filled with fun, giggles, and laughter. Some might remember their fabulous (and FUN) engagement session at Disneyland (where we got kicked out, but kept going while trying to not get caught! Lol!). They’re definitely kids at heart… and I love that about them!
They had a fabulous first look… then Harrold went back outside to knock on Prisillia’s door, so that her parent’s could answer the door while Harrold went with his family to ask for Prisillia’s hand in marriage!! It was sooo cute. The entire family gathered to give Prisillia ‘away’ and to give their blessings for this union. I love that they honored that beautiful tradition that is part of the Indonesian culture!
Their wedding ceremony (which took place at the First Presbyterian Church in Redlands) was equally amazing… at one point in the ceremony Harrold and Prisillia took the mike and sang a song to their parents! It was sooooo beautiful. There wasn’t a dry eye in the entire place… everyone was so touched that tears just flowed. I love what I do – I love being a part of moments that are so inspiring and just amazing!

Yes…I know… it’s dusty and abandoned in here… I know. It’s been around 6 months since I’ve even pretended to remember that I needed to update y blog
. I know… bad, bad, bad! hahaha! I’ve been soooooo busy that I just can’t keep up. Seriously… those of you fabulous photographers that do all of your own post-processing, website maintenance, blogging, facebook-ing, and twittering – all while doing a ton of weddings – how the heck do you all do it!?! lol!! I can’t even begin to figure it out! haha! I need an assistant … lol! (and a cook, a full time nany, and a maid. I can hope, can’t I?!?!). But, since that’s out of the question – all I can do is try to keep up as best I can. This weekend I decided to force myself to post a few of the many weddings that are backed up…. from back in October of last year! (yes… let’s all ghasp and giggle nervously together! lol!).
So these last 6 months I’ve shot tons of weddings (both locally and destination weddings)… tons of engagements (also locally and for destination)… my beautiful sister got married (and I was her photographer, of course)… my son turned 4 and is talking a ton (not sure if that’s a good thing or not, since now I don’t know what ‘peace and quiet’ feels like anymore!)… and one of my images was featured in a post in the fabulous wedding blog Chez-Wedd – http://chezwedd.com/trash-the-dress-session/ (I love all the wedding ideas and weddings that they feature!! – check them out!!!)
So … let’s begin my challenge of trying to get caught up… in the mean time – an image from my sister’s fabulous wedding…

Christina and Kevin have such a sweet relationship… they’re one of those couples that loves to hug and kiss and just ‘be’. When we did their engagement session, I remember Christina ‘warned’ me that Kevin really didn’t want to be there – hahaha!!! (yes… I am fully aware that more often than not the guys only go along with the whole engagement session idea just to make their future wife happy – which, in my opinion, is great practice for once the marriage begins!!! LOL!!!). So I was ready to pull out all my tricks to get Kevin to relax during the engagement session – but really, after a few minutes – both of them were very ‘into it’!!! LOL!!! I knew then that we would have a great time on their wedding day – especially since their wedding took place at the beautiful Green Mountain Ranch in Lytle Creek!
One of my favorite parts of Christina and Kevin’s wedding was how they made it such a priority to include Kevin’s kid into their ceremony!!! it was so sweet to see kids ‘take’ Christina as part of their lives too!!! (yes… I did the whole awwwwwww and head tilt when that part of the ceremony began
).

Their wedding had so much tradition and style … and I wouldn’t expect anything else from this fabulous couple!!! LOL!!!!
Their traditional Catholic mass took place at St. Dominic Savio Church – in Bellflower.
And their fabulous reception was held at the City of Industry Expo Center - where we also took their fabulous and romantic Bride/Groom portraits!!

From the moment that I met Harrold & Prisillia they expressed their love for Disneyland and everything magical about it!! When they told me that they would like to do their engagement session there, I just knew we were going to have a blast!!!!!!!! Even though I grew up in California, I actually haven’t been to Disneyland for a LONG time – I think I was like 15 years old the last time I was there – so it’s definitely been a while (although I would like to think I’m still 25 at heart! LOL!!!). We made a trip out of it – so my son, my mom, and my sisters went with me … so after I finished working I could go ‘play’ a little bit!!!
. It was so much fun (even if my son decided that he didn’t really like the big characters walking around – they kind of freaked him out – LOL!!!!).
Anyways… back to the engagement session … It rocked!!! hahaha! Harrold and Prisillia are such kids at heart!!!! I loved their sweet innoncence… their laughs… and their excitement!!! Even after a security guard almost kicked us out – they still had such a positive and fun attitude!!! hahaha! (oh.. and this security guard even claimed that she had seen me taking pictures there often before and that’s why she wanted to kick us out!!! haha!!! she wouldn’t believe me that I hadn’t been to Disneyland since I was in high school!!! hahaha!)
Thank you guys for taking me to Disneyland!!!!

The cool ocean breeze… a fabulous couple…. what more could you ask for on a hot summer day! Shannon and Ezekiel are the cutest highschool sweethearts EVER. They truly found love while they were very young. They can honestly tell their grandchildren one day that they met and fell in love when they were just kids themselves… and they nurtured that love while they grew up together… ok – can we all say ‘awwwww’ together?!?!?! I absolutely love their LOVE story so much!!!! I am so incredibly happy for them!
Their wedding took place at the beautiful La Palapa restaurant in Long Beach – after a gorgeous beach front wedding surrounded by family and friends.
