I had been looking forward to last weekend’s engagement session with a slight bit of anxiety and quite a lot of excitement for quite some time.  From the moment Amanda contacted me to be her wedding photographer I knew she was one of the warmest and sweetest people in the UNIVERSE.  Seriously. Becaue I personally know everyone in the world! LOL!   Amanda was excited about her wedding, about her love for Jake, and about my photography – how awesome is she?!?!  So why was I a little nervous?…  I had never met her in person before!  … As it turned out, I had nothing to worry about – Amanda and Jake are the type of  people that just make you feel welcome… I am sooo honored to be a part of their lives!!!!

There are a few things that anyone can tell you when you see them together – they’re happy, they’re fun, they’re totally and completely in LOVE, and yes… Jake is just a tad taller than Amanda .  They are so incredibly cute together!

We shared this time together walking around the beautiful grounds of the Hartley’s Botanica in Somis then we took a short little drive to where their actual wedding will be in July.
